Kathmandu, Sept 9: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is preparing to resign from his post. Sources close to the Prime Minister confirmed that he is set to step down shortly.
However, discussions are still underway on whether he will announce his resignation through a televised address to the nation or formally submit it to the President.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Oli’s decision follows the escalating Gen Z-led protests, which have even intensified today, with demonstrators even targeting the residences of political leaders.
