Kathmandu, Dec 18: Minister for Health and Population Pradip Paudel has requested the Qatar Government to help upgrade the infrastructure of Kanti Children Hospital, a specialized hospital for treatment of children in the country.
The Ministry of Health and Population has taken forward a detailed plan of action so as to address the overall infrastructure and expanding of the treatment of children in a better way. In this, Nepal was seeking cooperation from friendly nations.
Today, during the meeting with Qatari Ambassador Misal bin Mohammed Al Ansari, Minister Paudel said that the government has given priority to improving the health of children and said that the hospital is expected to be in line with the infrastructure development.
Qatari Ambassador Ansari said that the relationship between the two countries is genuine and wants to expand the area of cooperation.
Ambassador Ansari also informed that the Qatar Charity is active in Nepal and supporting the Nepal’s health sector.
He also said that he was positive about supporting Kanti Hospital for providing quality treatment services to Nepalese children. #nepal #qatar
