Kathmandu, April 22: The country is experiencing effects of both westerly and local winds. It has resulted into partly changes in weather in the hilly areas of eastern belt while remaining parts have clear weather.
The Weather Forecasting Division has predicted that few places in hilly region of the country will get brief rains coupled with thunder and lightning this night.
Similarly, few places in Tarai belt will have storm on Sunday, while one to two places in hilly region will see brief rainfall with thunder and lightning.
The Kathmandu Valley recorded the temperature at 30 Degree Celsius in maximum, while 12 Degree Celsius in minimum. In the last 24 hours, Dharan got 16.7 mm rainfall, while Taplejung 15 mm, and Dhankuta 11 mm.
