Rajeshwar Nepali, the pinnacle of Nepali journalism, passed away



Dhanusha, Aug 28:  Senior journalist and writer Rajeshwar Nepali, a fighter for democracy and freedom of the press, has passed away.

His son Raghvendra Prasad Sah informed that Nepali, who is also known as Bhishma Pitamah of Journalism, passed away today at 8:10 PM at Max Hospital in Janakpurdham.

Nepali, who had been ill for the past 14 months, had been bedridden since last Ashoj 12. Earlier, he was admitted for treatment in various hospitals in Delhi, India.

Nepali died seven days before his birthday. He was born on the 2002 Ashoj 19.

Born in a middle-class family, the Nepali started his journalistic life with mission journalism after completing his post-graduation studies. He started writing literature in the year 2015 BS by writing and reciting poetry on Janaki Nawami.
