Roshi section along BP Highway closed for traffic



Banepa, June 9: Vehicular movement along the BP Highway has been suspended from this 12: 30 pm bearing in mind potential risks posed by rising water levels in the local Roshi River.

The decision was taken following an increase in the flow of the Roshi River, according to District Police Office’s Dhulikhel Deputy Superintendent of Police, Rabin Bista.

All types of vehicles have been barred from plying along the Roshi section of the highway. Vehicles en route have been stopped at Khurkot and Nepalthok in coordination with the security bodies in Dhulikhel and Sindhuli.

The indefinite nighttime closure of the highway during the night has been extended the rains continue to affect the highway. Police have urged potential passengers to check the latest highway conditions before beginning their journey. #nepal
