Kathmandu, Dec 16: The Supreme Court has given permission for re-hearing of minor rape case filed against Purna Bikram Shah (Paul Shah).
A bench of justices—Sushmalata Mathema and Hari Prasad Phunyal- on December 8 gave permission for hearing again on the case.
The Office of the Attorney General had filed a petition, demanding for review of hearing against the decision of High Court Pokhara.
The High Court Pokhara had given clean chit to Shah on minor rape case.
The SC determined that the evidences were not properly evaluated in the High Court’s verdict of giving clean chit to Shah on February 16, 2023.
