Senate of Rapti Institute of Health Sciences meets in Kathmandu



Kathmandu, Feb 18: The fifth meeting of the senate of the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister and Chancellor KP Sharma Oli today.

The senate that met at the Prime Minister’s Official Residence in Baluwatar approved the budget and programs for the current fiscal year. It also approved the proposals related to policies, plans, programs and budget presented by Registrar Prof Shyam Lamsal.

The meeting decided to nominate Balibhadra Rana, Shree Prakash Shrestha, Yamuna Thapa Magar, Sushila Chaudhary as from among Dalit, indigenous nationalities and underprivileged classes, Sudip Gautam from among donors and Binod Dahal from employees as members of the RIHS assembly.

On the occasion, Prime Minister and RIHS Chancellor directed the RIHS to follow the rules and procedures and complete the work within time, and emphasized bringing further changes in the situation from all aspects.

The meeting was attended by Minister for Health and Population and Pro-Chancellor Pradeep Poudel, Vice-Chancellor of the Institute Dr Bikash Lamichhane, members of the National Planning Commission, secretaries of the Ministries of Health and Finance, among others.#nepal #political #rss
