Kathmandu, Jan 28: Senior Ophthalmologist Sanduk Ruit has been felicitated. At a programme organized by the Dallu Residence Local Committee, the international award recipient Dr Ruit was honoured with a letter of appreciation.
Former Prime Minister and senior leader of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Jhalanath Khanal honoured him.
On the occasion, Khanal said Dr Ruit’s international recognition for his leadership in health sector has elevated the image of entire Nepali people.
Leader Khanal asked one and all to get inspiration from Dr Ruit’s exemplary service for humanity.
Chairperson of Nepal Olympic Committee Jeevanram Shrestha lauded Dr Ruit’s contributions to give light to the patients in darkness and elevate the country’s image at international arena.
Kathmandu metropolis ward-15 chairperson Isworman Dangol appreciated Dr Ruit’s for his incomparable service to humanity and social development.
It may be noted that Dr Ruit has been chosen for prestigious ISA Award to be provided by Bahrain. He is the first Nepali citizen to receive such a big and prestigious international award.
