Kathmandu, Aug 30: CPN (UML) chair KP Sharma Oli has assigned the responsibility of acting chair to party’s senior vice-chair Ishwar Pokhrel.
Pokhrel has been designated as the acting chair of the party after Prime Minister and party chair Oli left for Tianjin, China this morning to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit at the friendly invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
According to UML Publicity Department Chief Rajendra Gautam, the senior vice-chairman has been given the responsibility of acting chairman as per subsection (2) of Article 21 of the UML Statute 2049 (Amendment 2078).#nepal 3political #rss
