Seven new polling stations added in Bajura

Bajura, Dec 4: Seven new polling stations have been added in Bajura for the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5, 2026. With this, the district now has a total of 77 polling centres and 112 polling stations.

The additional polling stations have been set up in Budhinanda Municipality, Himali Rural Municipality, Swamikartik Khapar Rural Municipality under Province Assembly Constituency ‘A’, and Triveni Municipality under Province Assembly Constituency ‘B’.

According to Bhim Bahadur Shahi, Election Officer at the District Election Office, Bhagwati Basic School in Rudhi, Mandali Secondary School in Kholikot, and Ward No. 3 Jukot in Swamikartik Khapar Rural Municipality-1 have been split, and a new polling station has been established at Shambhushunanda Secondary School in Juku.

Similarly, Madanashrit Basic School in Baddala of Budhinanda Municipality-3, Sunanda Basic School in Bam of Himali Rural Municipality-1, Kulamastajan Basic School in Kyuri of Ward No. 5, and Kholikot Basic School in Ward No. 6 have been designated as new polling stations.

Bajura, which comprises four rural municipalities and five municipalities, now has a total of 86,557 registered voters, including 1,516 new voters. #nepal #vote #election
