Kathmandu, Jan 18: Nepal is currently under the partial influence of westerly winds. According to the Weather Forecasting Division, mist or fog is likely to occur in some parts of the Terai region this afternoon.
Partly cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly and mountainous areas of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, as well as in Gandaki Province, while the rest of the country will experience mainly clear weather.
There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at one or two locations in the high hill and mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces.
Tonight, mist or fog is likely to persist in some parts of the Terai. Partly cloudy conditions will continue in the hilly and mountainous areas of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, including Gandaki Province, while the remaining areas will remain mostly clear.
The Weather Forecasting Division has also indicated the possibility of light rain and snowfall at one or two locations in the high hill and mountainous areas of Karnali and Gandaki provinces. #nepal #weather
