Kathmandu, Jan 25: The country is currently under the influence of a low-pressure system, resulting in cloudy conditions in parts of Nepal, according to the Meteorology Forecast Division (MFD) of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
This afternoon, the high hill and Himalayan regions are expected to remain mostly cloudy, while other parts of the country will experience partly cloudy weather.
The MFD has forecast the possibility of light snowfall and rain at one or two places in the high hill and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces, as well as in a few other high hill and Himalayan locations. In addition, some areas of the eastern and central Terai may witness fog during the morning hours.
Tonight, partly cloudy conditions are likely in some parts of the hilly and Himalayan regions, including Sudurpashchim Province, while the rest of the country is expected to remain mostly clear.
There is also a chance of light snowfall and rain at isolated places in the high hill and Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, the division said. #nepal #weather
