Kathmandu, Sept 7: Speaker Devraj Ghimire has issued a ruling to the government to apprise the House of the attack on Nepali Congress joint general-secretary Mahendra Yadav and the demise of a girl at an emergency ward of Kanti Children’s Hospital in want of treatment.
The Speaker’s ruling followed the concerns of various lawmakers in the today’s meeting of the House of Representatives over the two recent incidents.
The lower house members have condemned the incidents and demanded actions against those responsible for such consequences.
On Wednesday, Mr Yadav was attacked in Bhrikutimandap by Khukri in a broad day light. He was rushed to Bir Hospital Trauma Centre. Later doctors informed that he was out of danger. However, he is still in hospital for treatment.
