Kathmandu, June 7: On Wednesday, the trading amount also increased along with the index in the stock market. The index NEPSE increased by 4.68 points to 1932 points. The index reached 1950 points at around 12:30 p.m., but after that it fell somewhat due to pressure on sales.
The transaction amount has also increased compared to the previous day. Tuesday’s turnover was 1.98 billion, today it was 2.36 billion. The price of 137 companies increased, 74 companies decreased while 8 remained stable.
Banking 2.8, hotel and tourism 19, life insurance 3.9 and non-life insurance sub-group decreased 12 points. Development Bank 39, Finance 0.6, Hydropower 11, Manufacturing 27, Microfinance 43, Other 0.3 and Business sub-group increased 109 points.
