Sudurpashchim defeats Kathmandu by 73 runs, Naren took 5 wickets

Kathmandu, Dec 5: In their second match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), Sudurpashchim Royals defeated Kathmandu Gurkhas by 73 runs.

Sudurpashchim set a target of 168 runs for Kathmandu, who were bowled out for 94 runs in 15.4 overs, falling short of the target.

For Sudurpashchim, Naren Saud took 5 wickets. Likewise, Abinash Bohara took 2 wickets, Saif Zaib and Brandon McMullen took 1 wicket each.

Earlier, batting first, Sudurpashchim team managed to score 167 runs after losing six wickets. Brandon McMullen top scored 53 runs while captain Dipendra Singh Airee smashed valuable 43 runs. Likewise, Binod Bhandari scored 35 runs.
