KATHMANDU: The petition against the decision of the Supreme Court to overturn the unity of the CPN (UML) and the CPN (Maoist Centre) will not be reviewed.

A full bench headed by Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana has ordered not to review. The other two member of the bench were justices Tej Bahadur KC and Prakash Kumar Dhungana.

The Chairman of Maoist Centre Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ had submitted a petition seeking review of the court’s decision to overturn the unity of the CPN (UML) and the CPN (Maoist Centre) in the Supreme Court on March 30.

On the same day, Barshaman Pun, Haribol Gajurel, Giriraj Mani Pokhrel and Janardan Sharma also accompanied Prachanda to the court. The party unity between the CPN (UML) and the UCPN (Maoist Centre) was rejected by the Supreme Court on March 7.
