Kathmandu, Nov 29: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has nominated Dr. Swarnim Wagle as Vice President.
The ongoing meeting in Mahottari has elected Wagle as the Vice President. Likewise, DP Aryal will be another Vice President of the party. The party’s statute has a provision of two Vice Presidents.
According to sources, Aryal will be first Vice President and Dr Wagle as second.
The meeting also elected other officials. Mukul Dhakal has been retained as the General Secretary while Kabindra Burlakoti, Sumana Shrestha and Bipin Acharya have been selected as Joint General Secretary. Lima Adhikari has been assigned as Treasurer while Co-Treasurers have been nominated as Basumaya Tamang and Deepak Bohora.
Manish Jha, Pratibha Rawal, Ramesh Prasai have been given the responsibility of co-spokesperson. The meeting continued to appoint Biraj Bhakta Shrestha as the Deputy Leader of the parliamentary party and Santosh Periyar as the chief whip.
