Kathmandu, Nov 23: Nepal has been defeated by Syria in their opening match of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup football qualifiers.
Nepal was defeated by Syria 4–2 in the match held on Saturday at Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar.
Nepal, placed in Group ‘G’, has a match scheduled against Oman on Monday. After that, Nepal will play against Afghanistan and the hosts Myanmar.
The group winner will be selected for the Asian Cup to be held in Saudi Arabia next year. #AFC #AsianCup
