Kathmandu, March 19: Marxist leader Ghanashyam Bhusal has been nominated as the General Secretary of CPN (Unified Socialist) Party. The party secretariat meeting appointed Bhusal as the General Secretary on Sunday. Similarly, the party has nominated Beduram Bhusal, who has been the General Secretary until now, as the Vice President.
Former deputy general-secretary of the CPN (UML), Ghana Shyam Bhusal, has joined the CPN (Unified Socialist) on Friday.
CPN (UML) has expelled the permanent committee members Ghanshyam Bhusal and Prabhu Sah from the party.
CPN-UML's disciplinary commission has recommended action against standing committee member Ghanshyam Bhusal.
