KATHMANDU: A meeting between CPN (UML) Chairman and caretaker Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and disgruntled senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal held talks in Budhanilkantha.

On Thursday morning, the CPN (UML) Standing Committee withdrew the action of four leaders of Madhav Nepal group, including Nepal.

The deadline set by the President Bidya Devi Bhandari for the formation of a majority government is coming to an end today. When Oli proposed a vote of confidence in parliament, 28 lawmakers from the Nepal group were absent.

The Oli-Nepal talks took place while Nepal lawmakers were advising to resign from the parliament.
