Butwal, Oct 24: Three girls have drowned while bathing in the Rapti river in Dang.
District Police Office spokesperson Ishwar Thapa shared that Jharna Chaudhary and Nisha Chaudhary of Ranianpur in Lamahi municipality-2, and Kristi Chaudhary of Khadakpur in Gadhawa rural municipality-4 have drowned.
They were all 12-year-old. Kristi was a Grade 8 student at Gorkha Model Secondary School Lamahi, Jharna was studying in Grade 4 at Martin Academy in Patthargarhwa and Nisha was a grade 6 in the same school.
