Pokhara, July 19: In two separate incidents in Pokhara today, three people died after drowning in a river and a lake.
Two young men died after drowning in Pokhara Metropolitan City–23 Harpan river while swimming, District Police Office Kaski informed.
The deceased have been identified as 18-year-old Prakrit Buddhacharya of Pokhara-1 Mohariyatol and 18-year-old Swayam Tamrakar of Pokhara-2 Baglung Bus Park. They went in the river for swimming with their friends.
Likewise, a 6-year-old Sachin Pariyar died today after drowning in Pokhara Metropolitan City-26 Gudetal. He had gone with his father Bikas Pariyar and suddenly drowned in the lake.
