Tibet Government-donated medical supplies on way to Khasa

KATHMANDU: The government of the Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) of China has donated emergency medical supplies to Nepal.

The liquid oxygen, oxygen cylinders, concentrators among other emergency medical supplies were donated to Nepal aimed at supporting a neighbor in this critical hour worst-hit by COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the Office of the Consulate General Lhasa, 30 metric tonnes liquid oxygen among other medical supplies was on the way to Kathmandu from Lhasa.

These supplies will reach Khasa till Friday night. Similarly, the Tibetan government had promised to send 200 sets ICU bed, five set ventilators and 10 set oxygen concentrators.
