Kathmandu, Sept 28: The security agency has recorded the death of total 30 people so far in the rain-induced disasters from various places across the country.
The casualty data also includes the fatalities from the Kathmandu Valley- floods and landslides caused by the incessant rainfall.
Twenty-one people lost their lives in the landslides, floods and inundations in the Kathmandu Valley alone, said Joint-Spokesperson of the Armed Police Force, Shailendra Thapa.
Similarly, nine people died and 11 people have gone missing outside the Valley.
The APF Nepal has mobilized 1,947 security personnel for disaster responses as well as 23 rafting boats to rescue people in the Valley. Total 162 physical structures were damaged.
760 people rescued alive
The APF Nepal has rescued 760 people alive, added Joint-Spokesperson Thapa. Nine each in Kathmandu and Lalitpur, three each in Kavrepalanchowk and Bhaktapur and two each in Panchthar and Dhankuta and one each in Jhapa and Dhading lost their lives in the disasters.
