Kathmandu, Aug 1: The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has said that the tourist arrival in July has increased 11.91% as copared to the month of July last year (2023).
According to the report, a total of 64,599 tourists arrived Nepal in July 2024. Last year, the total tourist arrival in July was 57,726. Due to monsoon season, the flow of tourists arrival usually declines in June, July and August every year.
In 2024, Nepal records 44,462 tourists arrival but due to Covid-19 pandemic 3,063 tourists visited Nepal in 2021, 196 in 2020. However, the tourist arrival was nearly 71 thousands in 2019.
Likewise, total departure for the month of July 2024 was 62,228.
