Janakpur, 5 May: The Jayanagar-Janakpur-Bhangaha train services will remain closed for three days in view of the Loksabha election in India.
The Loksabha election is scheduled to take place on coming May 7 (Baisakh 25) in Bhanjharpur parliamentary constituency of Madhuvani District, India.
According to a notice issued today by Nepal Railway Company Limited, the train service will remain closed for three days due to the upcoming Loksabha election in Bhanjharpur parliamentary constituency of Madhuvani district, India,
As it has to be closed for 24 hours before the election, the Jayanagar-Janakpur-Bhangaha train service will not operate from tomorrow, according to the notice issued by the general manager of the company, Niranjan Jha.
According to the decision of Border District Coordination Committee comprising representatives from both Nepal and India, the train service will remain completely closed until next Tuesday.
