Kathmandu, July 2: A traveler from South Korea has complained that his 25% of luggage items have been stolen from Tribhuvan International Airport.
He (Damu Dai) has said that he has worked in South Korea and sent remittance through banking channel, instead of Hundi. “I am ashamed today in Airport. I paid NRs. 44,734 tax for my two mobiles, but I lost nearly 25% of my luggage items.”
He has further said, “I repeatedly requested to airport officials to see CCTV footage, but didn’t properly respond.” He has voiced concern that thousands of foreign workers have been facing such inhuman behavior at the airport.
Meanwhile, Minister of Civil Aviation Sudan Kiranti has assured of providing justice to Damu.
