Kathmandu, Jan 26: Nepal Police has arrested Treasurer of Baglung-based Image Saving and Credit Cooperative, Laxmi Sen Sunar.
The Crime Investigation Bureau of police arrested 27-year-old Sunar on the charge of her involvement in embezzling savings of depositors and made her public today.
Bureau Spokesperson, Superintendent of Police Nabaraj Adhikari said Sunar was arrested from Dhobighat of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-3 based on the complaints of victims.
He shared Sunar has been handed over to District Police Office, Baglung, for necessary investigation against her.
Eight people including Cooperative Chairperson Dev Kumar Nepali have been made defendants on the charge of embezzling the saving of depositors. #Nepal
