Kathmandu, June 12: An earthquake took place with its epicenter at Bicchiya of Bajura district.
According to National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, Lainchaur, the earthquake measuring 4.4 in the Richter scale felt in the district at 7.38 am this morning.
Earlier too, earthquake with its epicenter at Bichhaya was occurred several times in Bardiya.
An earthquake measuring 3.9 in the Richter scale had also rocked Sindhupalchowk district on May 28.
Lately, earthquake was recurrently taking place in the eastern and western areas of Nepal. Nepal’s hilly and mountainous areas are considered the vulnerable zone for earthquake.
