Gorkha, Dec 2: One person died and three others were injured in a tractor accident in Gorkha. According to the district traffic police, 29-year-old Padam Bahadur Thapa Magar died in an accident on the Silingdobhan road section located in Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality-3 of the district.
In the accident, 26-year-old Ram Bahadur Alemagar, 22-year-old Pradeep Aryal of Abukhaireni Rural Municipality-3 of Tanahun and 35-year-old tractor driver Biswash Gurung of Gorkha Municipality-13 were injured and they are being treated at Chitwan.
Motorcyclist dies after being hit by a truck
Meanwhile, a 35-year-old Mohammad Harun of Surunga Municipality-4 of Saptari district was hit by a truck at Kadamaha in Surunga Municipality-4. He died on the spot, police informed.
A truck traveling from east to west hit the Harun-led motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. According to the district police office, the truck and the driver were taken into custody and the investigation has started.
