Sunsari, April 14: Two people were injured in a shooting that took place this evening at Dewangunj rural municipality-2, Rasi.
The injured have been identified as Rabindra Yadav, 24, of Dewanganj-2 and Shivu Kumar Mehta of ward no. 1, according to police inspector at the District Police Office, Sunsari, Dinesh Adhikari.
Yadav, who was shot by an unidentified person, is in normal condition now. He is undergoing treatment at a local clinic, police said. Another injured Mehta is being treated at Biratnagar-based Nobel Hospital, the District Police Office, Sunsari shared.
Police said they were looking for those involved in the shooting which was believably took place due to dispute between the gangs linked to smuggling. Further investigation into the incident is underway, police said.#nepal #Sunsari #rss
