JANAKPURDHAM: Two people have been electrocuted while performing pooja in Dhanusha district.
They were electrocuted in a Hanuman Aradhana program held at the house of Puran Yadav of Parsa Tol in Kshireshwar Nath Municipality-3 on Tuesday evening, according to local police.
The deceased have been identified as Binda Das, 55, and Maniram Yadav, 50, of Laxminiya Rural Municipality-3.
According to police, the two died while undergoing treatment at the Provincial Hospital, Janakpur. Their bodies was kept at the hospital for post-mortem and further investigation is underway.
