Rupandehi, Dec 15: Two persons were killed in a road accident along the Bhairahawa–Parasi road section in Rupandehi district this morning.
The deceased have been identified as Raju Harijan, 21, and Rohit Yadav, 23, both residents of Omsatiya Rural Municipality–3, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Suraj Karki.
The accident occurred when a motorcycle (Ga 11 Pa 8625) traveling towards Bhairahawa from Parasi collided with a parked truck bearing an Indian registration number (HR 55 W 031) at Parasijhuwa along the Bhairahawa–Parasi road section.
Both victims sustained critical injuries and died while undergoing treatment at Bhairahawa-based Universal College of Medical Sciences, DSP Karki said.
Police have impounded the truck and taken its driver into custody. Further investigation into the incident is underway. #nepal #accident
