Sankhuwasabha, July 16: Two members of the same family were killed in a landslide at Silichong rural municipality-1 in Sankhuwasabha this morning.
According to Silichong rural municipality Chair Bhupal Raj Mehawahang, the dead are Motimaya Rai, 55, and her daughter-in-law Samiksha Rai, 25.
It is said the landslide occurred at around 6:00 am.
A huge rock brought down by the landslide fell over them. Rabina Rai, 29, has been injured in the incident and until the filing of this report, preparations were on to take her to Kathmandu on a Nepal Army helicopter for treatment, according to Chief District Officer, Dhruba Bahadur Khadka. #nepal #landslide
