Pokhara, March 31: Two persons died while ten others got injured in a jeep accident occurred at Bhadaure of Annapurna Rural Municipality-4 of Kaski district on Sunday afternoon.
Those losing lives in the crash are Jayram Sunar, 52; and Laxman Sunar, 55, from Pokhara Metropolis-23. They died while receiving treatment at Manipal Teaching Hospital, according to Police Inspector at District Police Office, Surya Rana.
Five others injured in the crash are receiving treatment at Manipal Hospital while Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences has also been providing treatment to similar number of injured in the same accident.
A jeep (Ga 1 Ja 5547) heading to Bhadaure from Annapurna, Pokhara met accident at Bhadaure. The vehicle fell some 200 meter down the road.
A team of Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force had carried out rescue operation in support of the locals, police added. The incident site lies 29 km away from Pokhara city. #Nepal
