Itahari, Nov 16: Two people died in separate accidents in Sunsari district last night.
One person died and three others injured in an accident at Malpot Chowk, Dharan sub-metropolitan city-6 last night.
According to local police, the deceased is 34-year-old Padam Bahadur Limbu of Kerabari Rural Municipality-5 in Morang. 23-year-old Jenisha Magar, 45-year-old Anjana Magar and 24-year-old Rabina Magar of the same place were injured in the accident.
The police said that a three wheeler – Ko2H 5565 -was uncontrolled and the accident took place. The four injured in the accident were taken to BP Koirala Health Institute in Dharan for treatment, but Limbu died during treatment. The police are searching for the driver of the Tempo who absconded.
Similarly, 60-year-old Bal Kumar Khatiwada of Inaruwa-3, Sunsari, who was seriously injured when he was hit by a motorcycle, died on Wednesday.
He was hit by a Ba 27 p 8701 motorcycle. He died during treatment at Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar, police said.
Police is investigating both the cases.
