Waling, July 14: Two siblings drowned in a well while taking bath in Syangja on Sunday. The dead ones were from Ramkosh Swara of Putalibazaar municipality-4, according to police.
Laxmi Thapa, 14, and Susmita Thapa, 12, who were daughters of local Narendra Bahadur Thapa drowned in the well, the District Police Office confirmed.
Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Indra Bahadur Rana, informed that Laxmi was a 9th grader and Sushmita a 5th grader. They had gone to the well, located some 500 metres away from home, for washing clothes and taking bath.
Additional investigation into the incident is underway, Rana added.
