Nepalgunj, July 9: Two women have died due to lightning shock in Banke district. According to police, another woman was injured.
Two women were killed by lightning while planting paddy in Hariharpur village of Raptisonari rural municipality-2, Kachnapur. The deceased have been identified as 32-year-old Samjhana BK and 32-year-old Basanti Upadhyay.
Both of them died during treatment. Another woman 30-year-old Salina BK was seriously injured by lightning strike. She is being treated at a teaching hospital in Kohalpur, police said.
