Kathmandu, Nov 9: The UAE has defeated Nepal in the ongoing ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier played at their home ground today.
Nepal lost to the UAE by 13 runs. Chasing the 123 runs posted by the UAE, Nepal was limited to 109 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs.
For Nepal, captain Puja Mahato scored the highest with 48 runs, Sana Pravin and Soni Pakhrin each made 19 runs, Jyotsnika Marasini scored 11, Sabitra Dhami 7, and Alisha Kumari Yadav 3 runs.
Nepal will play against Thailand on Sunday. The team that finishes at the top among the four competing teams will qualify for the World Cup to be held in Malaysia next year. #nepal #uae #cricket
