Kathmandu, Oct 29: Visiting United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is set to address a joint session of the Federal Parliament at 4:00 pm on the coming Tuesday.
House of Representatives (HoR) Speaker Devraj Ghimire made this announcement in the today’s session of the lower house.
The Speaker urged lawmakers to be present for the meeting on October 31 by 3:45 pm, adhering to a formal dress code.
Meanwhile, in the meeting, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Dhanraj Gurung, on behalf of the Finance Minister, presented the’ Banking Offence and Punishment(second amendment) Bill 2080′ and ‘Customs Bill,2080’.
The next session of the lower house shall take place on November 2, Thursday.RSS
