Birgunj, Sept 25: Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has pointed out the need for all Nepali people to move forward with unity for progress and prosperity.
While inaugurating the Nepali Congress Parsa district office building here today, he emphasized that all communities including all castes, indigenous nationalities, Madhesi, women, Tharu and Muslims should move forward together. “It is the need of the day to work together with all castes, religions, and cultures for development and prosperity”, Deuba said.
Stating that the revolution of 2007 BS started from Parsa and that Thirabam Malla was also martyred in the district, he recalled of having to travel through India to reach Parsa as East West highway was not yet built.
Atmaram Ojha, Dukh Sahni Memorial Building, built by Nepali Congress Parsa in Birgunj Metropolitan City Ward No. 24, was inaugurated today. The party office will be operated in the same building.
According to the Nepali Congress Parsa, the building was constructed at a cost of Rs 10.2 million. #deuba
