US Embassy reaffirmed in advancing academic cooperation

Kathmandu, August 5: The U.S. Embassy in Nepal reaffirmed its leadership in advancing academic cooperation between the United States and Nepal during an orientation program where Public Affairs Chief Mike Harker served as Guest of Honor and addressed newly enrolled higher secondary students and faculty members.

The event marked the beginning of the academic year at one of Nepal’s prominent private schools, which previously partnered with the Embassy to host an EducationUSA mini fair.

In his remarks, Mike outlined the Embassy’s education priorities and emphasized the importance of academic partnerships in fostering mutual understanding and long-term engagement.

He noted that U.S. educational diplomacy supports both Nepali aspirations and American interests by strengthening people-to-people ties and positioning the United States as the preferred partner in a rapidly evolving education landscape.

Through ongoing engagement with leading academic institutions, the United States demonstrates its commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders who will drive regional prosperity and help build lasting ties between our countries. #nepal #usa #educationUSA #fair
