KATHMANDU: Minister for Health and Population Birodh Khatiwada has said the government had secured the vaccination required for controlling coronavirus in the country.
Minister Khatiwada, who is also the leader of CPN (Unified Socialist), said it while addressing the first convention of party’s Sunapati Rural Municipality unit on Friday.
He made it clear that the health workers including medical persons studying on government scholarship would be employed on contract in order to address human resources crunch in health sectors. Similarly, efforts were on to establish health facilities in the places lacking these.
In a different note, he said the present government was formed after the split of the CPN triggered by the dissolution of the House of Representatives twice by then Prime Minister KP Oli.
The programme was presided over by Chairperson of Sunapati Rural Municipality, Durga Ghimire.
