Kathmandu, April 26: Vice President of Asian Development Bank (ADB) Yingming Yang had a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
In the meeting held today at the Prime Minister’s residence, Baluwatar, they discussed the economic development of Nepal as well as the upcoming Nepal Investment Summit.
On that occasion, Prime Minister Dahal said that Nepal is a suitable destination for investment. He informed that Nepal will propose effective and investable projects in the investment conference to be held in Nepal.
“The government has created a suitable environment for investment by making legal and policy reforms,” Prime Minister Dahal said, “This is a suitable opportunity for investment in Nepal.”
In the meeting, ADB Vice President Yang mentioned that ADB is ready to invest in Nepal’s strategic projects and said that the bank will decide on a strategy to invest more in Nepal in the future.
The Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Dr. Rupak Sapkota and senior officials of ADB in Nepal were also present in the meeting. #nepal
