CHITWAN: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has reiterated that some of the leaders and friends have left the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) by ignoring the people’s aspiration and demand of the nation.

“We were in full fledged development of the country, many development activities were taking place,” he said, “The fruits of development will be felt by the fellow countrymen soon.”

He said, “We are the true leader of the country. The country is full of resources, and we are hopeful of utilising these for the benefit of the people.”

He said that the government has already started vaccination to frontline health workers and other vulnerable section of the society as sanitation workers, ambulance drivers against COVID-19. However, Prime Minister Oli has changed his stance of vaccination drive. He previously announced that the government will provide vaccine within three months free of cost to all Nepalese. Today he said that the vaccination drive will complete by 2021.

Within three years of my term as Prime Minister, I have never bowed down on the issue of country’s sovereignty, he said.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Prachanda-Nepal faction of NCP Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the KP Oli’s situation in the party was one-third, and today people also showed the same result from Dhangadhi.

Prachanda and another Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal were addressing a mass rally at Dhangadhi, far-west of Nepal.

Both the leaders have argued that the KP Oli’s move to dissolve the House of Representative as unconstitutional, undemocratic and autocratic. “KP Oli is not holding the general election, he just wants to stick in the post of Prime Minister for longer time by creating chaos in the country.”
