Kathmandu, June 25: There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall at one or two places in Koshi and Sudurpaschim Provinces today. Additionally, light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning is expected in some places in the hilly areas of the country.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported that monsoon winds are affecting the entire country. Today, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy across the country, with light to moderate rainfall and possible snowfall in high-hilly and mountainous regions of all provinces.
Tonight, Koshi, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces, along with other hilly areas, will experience generally cloudy weather. The rest of the country will be partly to generally cloudy. There is a chance of light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning in hilly areas, including Koshi, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces, as well as in other parts of the country.
Moreover, heavy to very heavy rainfall is possible in Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces. Light to moderate rain and snowfall may occur in high-hilly and mountainous areas of all provinces.
