Kathmandu, May 13: The country is currently experiencing the effects of easterly and local winds. These winds, along with water vapor generated from the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea, also have a partial impact in Nepal, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
The Division further said that the hilly regions of Koshi and Sudurpaschim Provinces will be partly and generally cloudy, while other places will have fair to partly cloudy weather.
Some areas of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces, as well as other hilly regions of the country, are predicted to experience light to moderate rain with thunder. Similarly, a few places in the upper hilly and mountainous regions will have light rain and snowfall.
Light rainfall is expected in the upper hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces, the weather service reported.
One to two places in Bagmati, Gandaki and Koshi Provinces are forecasted to have light rainfall with thunder and lightning.
