Kathmandu, Dec 19: Nepal and Sri Lanka have shared a point each after the game between them under the Women’s U-19 Asia Cup Super-4 in Malaysia had to be canceled due to rain today.
Nepal had been fielding after winning the toss when rain stopped the game. It started raining right after the first over. The match had to be canceled as the rain continued. Nepal claimed one wicket in the very first over itself.
Nepal had entered Super-4 round defeating Pakistan by six wickets in the first game before this.
Nepal and India shared one point each after the last match of the group stage was also canceled due to rain.
India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka along with Nepal are in the Super-4 round. Nepal and Bangladesh will face each other in the Super-4 match on Friday. #nepal #cricket #AsiaCup
