World Cup cricket: Bangladesh bundled out for 106 runs



Kathmandu, June 17: Nepal has bowled out Bangladesh for 106 runs in the ICC T20 World Cup cricket tournament.

Bangladesh were confined to 106 runs in 19.3 overs losing all their wickets. Invited to bat first after losing the toss at the Arnos Vale Stadium in St. Vincent, West Indies.

Nepal has received a moderate target of 107 runs where there may be an opportunity for the national team to create a new history. Nepal has not been so far able to beat the Test-playing team.

In the match, Shakib Al Hasan scored top for Bangladesh with 17 off 22 balls with two fours. Rishad Hasan scored 13 runs in seven balls with one four and one six.

Mahmudullah Riyad scored 13 runs in 13 balls with the help of two fours. Taskin Ahmed and Jaker Ali scored 12 runs each while Liton Das scored 10 runs. Towhid Hridoy scored 9 runs, Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto scored four runs and Tanzid Hasan and Mustab Fizur Rahman scored three runs each.

Nepali bowlers, Sompal Kami, Dipendra Singh Airee, Sandeep Lamichhane and Rohit Kumar Poudel took two wickets each. Nepal are now batting against Bangladesh. RSS #Nepal
