Kathmandu, Dec 5: National Assembly (NA) Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina has urged the youths, who have gone abroad, to return home.

The parliament’s upper house Chairman requested them to return home in order to make the country prosperous, utilizing their knowledge gained in foreign land.

Speaking at a programme organised by National Child Rights Council, Nepal, here on Tuesday, he pointed out the need of building a thought of doing something in the country after returning to the country rather than berating the lack of opportunities in the country.

The NA Chair expressed the view that all the political leaders should not be blamed for the deteriorating situation of the country. “Now all youths should involve in making the country prosperous rather than going abroad, saying political leaders did not build environment to stay in the country. One should emerge as a prime minister in their young age. I am ready to support for the same,” he stressed.

The NA Chair further said the youths from the coming elections should fulfill their responsibility by electing such leaders having vision to develop the country. Similarly, Vice-Chairperson of the Council, Bam Bahadur Baniya, pointed out that children should also be aware about politics.

“Children should not be involved in political publicity. But getting political knowledge is the need of hour”, he shared. Likewise, Chairperson of Jagriti Child and Youth Concern Nepal, Tilottam Poudel, mentioned that the government should help youth to create environment to live in the country.
